Scabiosa caucasica Fama White

Scabiosa caucasica Fama White is the possibly the best perennial scabiosa. The long stems produce pure white flowers that rise high above the mounds of dense lance-shaped leaves to create beautiful white flowers with a pincushion centre. These stunning flowers can reach up to 10cm wide.

This plant is adored by flower arrangers, and they are considered to be the best strain for cutting.

This Scabiosa is relatively easy to grow and they very hardy to below -18°C They like  excellent drainage. Scabiosa flower profusely the more they are cut and throughout the whole summer, and last well into autumn. They are a favourite of both bees and butterflies. Height 70cm, width 45cm.
