Geranium 'Mourning Widow'

Geranium phaeum or Mourning Widow as it widely known as forms a mound of deeply-cut green foliage, bearing unique dark maroon-purple clusters of flowers from early October. Cut back after blooming to encourage fresh new foliage. Tolerates dry shade better than most. Excellent choice for a woodland garden. Clumps easily and can be divided in spring or autumn. Height 60-70cm and width 50-60cm.
