Ligularia dentata

Forms dense clumps of 30cm leaves like those of a giant violet, they are slightly cupped and heavily veined with red or purple. In summer, branched, dark red flower stems shoot up higher than the leaves producing large heads orange/yellow daisy flowers. Likes moist soil, ideal for around pond, shade or semi shade. Height to 90cm.
